Aeranthos

Native to Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uraguay the 'carnation of the sky' is a stunning and hardy ariplant that can tolertae lower temperatures than other varieties. The Aeranthos blooms every year with dark blue to deep purple flowers and ruby red bracts. In the right conditions this stunning Tillandsia is clump forming and can produce offsets after flowering. To be viewed at its best this plant prefers moderate watering and moderate light. A very fine example to add to any collection.
