Caput Medusa

The Caput Medusa with its serpent-like leaves really resembles its name-sake. A great choice for beginners, this plant is very robust and one of the hardiest airplants. The fine trichomes (hairs) along its leaves give this plant a silvery, fuzzy look and its striking blooms of cherry red flower spikes contrast the cooler looking leaves. With purple flowers the 'Medusa' is a real crowd-pleaser and one we recommend as an easy to care for, 'no faff' plant. Moderate to bright light and a good watering regime help this plant to reach its full potential, especially with regular feeding.
